Weathertop

Shire -> Bree -> Weathertop -> Rivendell -> Caradhras -> Moria -> Lothlorien -> Conclusion
Let's hope the engine keeps up after that long haul! This is Weathertop, one of the highest points around this land. From here one can see many of the places we are to visit and more. Over there is Caradhras, way down South and farther is the beginning of Mordor, that forest area contains Lothlorien, the beautiful keep of the elves. This is where Aragorn led the hobbits to in order to keep themselves on bearing, since they'd be able to see their destination, Rivendell. In addition to the help they expected, they also got an unexpected surprise. They were ambushed by 7 of the 9 riders and Frodo, drawn by some outside force, put on the ring. He was able to see the evil spirits, but they were able to see him, and Frodo slashed at them and got pierced by one of their weapons. This evil weapon had a life draining poison, which caused a severe coldness to Frodo's shoulder and he had to ride on Bill, the pony, named after its previous owner, in order to get to Rivendell. Speaking of which, it'll take a couple minutes to get there.
