Bree
We are on the Fellowship of the Rings Tour
Tour created by D.J. on Jan. 5, 1997
Shire -> Bree -> Weathertop -> Rivendell -> Caradhras -> Moria -> Lothlorien -> Conclusion
Here it is; the town of Bree. This is a mostly peaceful town, exciting events never really happen that often around here. The only corruption lies in that gloomy house you can clearly see at the end of the town, which belongs to Bill Ferney, a bad human with malintentions. When the group of hobbits arrive here, Bill is always spying on them and giving information to the evil 9 Black Riders, a group of spiritual servants to the Dark Lord. He used to own a pony which he treated very badly. Coming up on our right, we have the inn, run by Butterbur, who is a nice, but busy fellow. He lost the important message Gandalf gave him instead of sending it to Frodo in the Shire, like he was supposed to. This tree in front of the inn was where Aragorn son of Arathorn, a human also known as Strider around here, was sitting and observing the hobbits. He joins hobbits, by the request of Gandalf, and is truely a necessary member of the party to help out the hobbits. He's a ranger and knows very much. Notice the house of the inn which is currently under repairs. This is where the Dark Riders thought the hobbits were staying, but luckily, because of the wise advice of Aragorn, the hobbits stayed in a different house. So when the Dark Riders broke into the house at the inn at night and struck knives on all the beds, the beds were the only things hurt. Hold tight; the next stop is on the top of a hill.
