Computer
An integral part of my life
Computers were introduced to me first with my 400/800
Atari which had a keyboard attached. I did Logo, BASIC, and music on it.
One Christmas, my grandparents gave our family a Macintosh LC. I became
addicted to it! In high school I quickly learned HyperTalk, the programming
language of HyperCard, and programmed several dozen HyperCard stacks. I
bought several game CD-ROMs including Myst (my brother's), 1001 games for
the Mac, and Bad Mojo (a present). Using my skills and proficiency with
the computer I have helped the students and faculty of Needham High as
a Media Aide (Technology Leaders IV my senior year; not that it's much
different). I have helped people with applications such as HyperCard, NetScape,
Claris Works, and others. Using MasterTracks Pro, I have composed almost
a dozen pieces of music in Music By Computer, a High School course with
the intent that I'd be using these as background music in the Role-Playing
Games I write.
